This is a picture of a 1939 Mack BK.

The first Mack to use a 6-cylinder engine was a bus, the AL, which was introduced in 1926 and made until 1929. It had vacuum brakes (on the rear wheels only) and a 4-speed transmission. It was superseded by the BK which had an altogether new and more powerful engine as well as air brakes.
